I try to refrain from sending messages off hours unless 100% necessary and urgent. Just because I am working late, does not mean I expect anyone else to. I often use the schedule send features of Outlook and Ms Teams so I can get the thoughts out of my head but not impinge on someone's free time.

One thing that has helped in my career is knowing my goals for the day, week, month, and year. Once those are established I preference my schedule around the most important to the least important tasks.
Another way to promote work-life balance is to share feedback and appreciation with your peers. This can help you build trust, rapport, and morale among your team. I like it!!! I would also add that knowing couple of extra key points about team members, non-work related, also helps... Things like sports, hobbies, food, etc that you could mention from time to time, could bring a positive thought in the middle of 'work'... For example: I know that one of my team members loves traveling, I make sure to throw a 'travel' thought here and there, we go into it for couple of minutes and then go back to work. :)

Recently I was struggling at work with a task. One Leader just emailed and kept informing me about the importance of a task. As a people leader, I've noticed taking time away from work is challenging because workloads don't change, and it takes a while to catch up from missed time. If you get a chance to support team then try to be a resource like a temp lead, training support however make sure you keep your tasks on track. Get to know how each person learns/works best. Some need visuals, some are audible, some have to actually do the task. Most of us are a combination of all the above. When someone is struggling, meet with them. Find out where the sticking point is, then involve them in the plan to fix it. Online training? Side by side with another rep? Both? Make sure you both agree on the plan, make sure they do the plan, then check back in for understanding and work progress. And once they have corrected the issue, acknowledge it!

Don't take tension or stress for whatsoever reason because that's not going to change at all. Focus on the solution but not on the problem.

One of the best benefits I ever received was a complimentary membership to a local gym as part of my contract. I have always been active but before that probably hadn't stepped in a gym in years. It changed my life for the better and helped provide me with a fresher outlook on my day to day. Now I know this is something not all companies can offer but even just small competitions to keep people active is a great way to keep people enthusiastic about work and coming to work to share their accomplishments.
