I completely agree. One of the best ways to land a job position when you've had to job-hop is to have an advocate recommend you to work in their company. Make a list of advocates and stay in touch with them. If the question is raised by the recruiter as to why you've job-hopped so much, have your response memorized. "I wanted to be sure I had the opportunity for advancement. I didn't seem to feel that would happen in the companies I worked for. I also felt my talent was not being utilized, and of course, I was always interested in a higher salary. I believe my work ethic was commendable, I always met my deadlines, and got along well with my team. I want to become a valuable asset to the company I work for."

Just remember, if you’re being interviewed, chances are they’ve already seen your CV. There must be something they’re interested in more than ‘job hopping’ so, in my experience you should be open and honest and talk through the benefits of what you leveraged each time you have moved. Highlight the positives of each role and what you learnt and how that had helped you secure what’s next. From the employers perspective, they won’t want to hire and then invest in you if they believe you’re going to move on quickly again so you’ve got to also keep that in mind when answering.
