This is easier said than done. However, if you constantly reinforce the behavior with following, then its a matter of time: 1) Everything that has happened, you have zero control over it now. So no use worrying about it or getting angry over it. 2) You can only control your present, so make the most of it. 3) Future is not here yet, you don't know what it will bring. However, you can better prepare for it by focusing on your present.

Hmmm ... This is not an easy question to answer but I'll give you the answer I gave a friend who was perplexed with this question. I told him that he was already living his life's purpose. In his case he was a radiographer in one of the top hospitals. We often cannot perceive or feel or know we are fulfilling our life's purpose because it is human nature to always want something better, and this is a good thing. It drives and motivates us. A possible way to be more "sure" of you life's purpose is to imagine you're on your death bed looking back at your life. What is it you could have achieved or contributed to the world?
