But the only way to be great is to allow yourself to be terrible. - Ask yourself what you would have needed. Looking in the past can help you see where you have succeeded. You are the expert, because you have already done it - Find other people who have succeeded, because they likely have insights to add (and it is much more fun learning with other people) - Consistency is key. Have a plan for when you "don't feel like it" - Enjoy yourself, otherwise why bother? - It's OK to stop. When it doesn't serve you, move on.

Allerdings hat es für mich auch ungemein was für sich die Folgen eher spontan zu produzieren. Das ermöglicht es uns auf aktuelle Geschehnisse einzugehen und auch besser Themen aufzugreifen, die einen selbst gerade beschäftigen. Aktuell versuche ich alle 2 Wochen einen Podcast bereitzustellen. Mache mir da aber auch keinen Druck wenn es nicht klappt und fahre damit aktuell ganz gut ;-)

Das ist weit weniger aufwendig als ich es gedacht habe und gibt mir mehr Flexibilität eine Folge auch zeitnah online zu bringen. Darüber hinaus erstelle ich einen ergänzenden Artikel mit der Transkribier-Lösung von OpenAI und generiere mir daraus die Grundalge für den ergänzenden Artikel. Für mich funktioniert dies soweit so ganz gut.

Denn letztlich möchte ich für meine Nische einfach gute Inhalte aufarbeiten und damit mit ihnen in den Austausch kommen. Da kann man sicherlich den Inhalt noch in diversen anderen Schritten noch geschickt aufarbeiten und so noch mehr Reichweite erzielen. Letztlich habe ich dafür aktuell nicht die Muße und fahre auch ohne viel Tamtam hier ganz gut.

Denn Podcasting ist ein wunderbares Mittel um selbst zu dem Thema neue Einblicke zu gewinnen. Die Stärkung des eigenen Expertenstatus ist dabei eher ein Nebeneffekt der über einen längeren Zeitraum entsteht. Das braucht aber seine Zeit und ich kenne einige die dies zu sehr vorausgestellt haben und deswegen entsprechend auch nicht lange "durchgehalten" haben ihren Podcast mit Herzblut zu betreiben.

I’d encourage anyone considering starting a podcast to carefully reflect on why before you get into it. There’s a reason the average podcast dies before it gets to 10 episodes. Just because you have a business doesn’t mean you should have a podcast. If your goal is networking and brand building, there are other paths you can take. Rather than thinking about what you’re going to get out of it, think about what you have to offer people through it. Is there a relevant topic you don’t see being talked about enough or not represented how you think it should? Podcasting is a big commitment and a long-term investment, so starting it up thinking you’ll build an international brand or explode your business overnight will leave you discouraged.
