Clouds in Satellite Imagery is a very big challenge in Sentinel-2 dataset, but for Sentinel-1 Clouds are not a problem at all due to its all-weather capability. In this situation by fusing both Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2, we can leverage the advantages of both the sensors and at the same time, perform multi-class segmentation tasks even if clouds are available, for different tasks including (i) Deforestation Detection, (ii) Land Cover Segmentation, etc.
