I Accept that Time to Fill or Turn Around time to fill is important but. Getting good candidates at Right time(When organisation needs) is soo difficult, TAT to close a position different from getting a perfect fit. Some times getting a Perfect fit might take much time during this we might Miss the actual TAT but this okay, rather filling it with who ever is readily available. * Organisation with a Vision and Culture will always do Secession planning and show a growth path to existing talent.

Here is the one and only way to measure recruiter success. Sit your boo-tay down and recruit for their jobs. You’re going to want to do outreach and research for 2-3 weeks. Recruiter screens for a week, then 2-3 weeks of team interviews and hopefully an offer. Believe you me that you’ll know exactly how that recruiter is doing and exactly why. Metrics are great. But imagine walking into a car dealership and buy a car. You researched it. Test drove it, and got a good price. You worked with finance and secured the necessary payments. You put your key in the ignition and the car says “eh I didn’t really like the way you drove me. I’m going to pass.” That is how you measure recruiter “performance.” Have fun!

When I am tracking my candidates, I always add the details on where I found them that way I can easily pull a report and see where I get the most out of my efforts. In addition to tracking the source, I will also track the effectiveness of how I am reaching out in that source to optimize my reach out message. En general, los reclutadores o el área de reclutamiento y selección propone una terna o quina de candidatos, los que toman la decisión son la linea o jefaturas, reclutamiento y selección solo hace de intermediario o como un servicio a los requerimientos del cliente interno. Por ello, el éxito del candidato recae netamente en como su jefatura directa lo pueda manejar. Obviamente que el reclutador selecciona a los mejores candidatos y que más coherencia tengan con la cultura de la empresa, pero el reclutador solo llega hasta ese punto. El éxito que tenga el candidato seleccionado recae netamente en él y las realidades de clima y organizacionales que tenga en su unidad de destino.
