One thing I've found helpful as a lead field tech, was to get the number of assets on site, and the amount of days we have to complete the contract. From there, I am able to distinguish the amount of installations we need to complete daily, per tech. In the beginning of the contract, I get the team to do more than we should. That way we can be ahead. With being ahead, towards the end of the contract, we will have time to ensure quality installations has been provided. As well as, guarantee that all installed products are active and working properly.
