It's constant repetition. Most data breaches I am aware of came not through a weakness in technology but from weakness in employee training. Especially in a remote setting it is easier to contact employees e.g. through phishing mails as they can not verify the authenticity as easy compared to a co-location setting in the same time zone. If I never have met the person who sent me an email and they work in a time zone that is asleep already I am much more likey to anser to an "urgent" message that I received when I turned on my laptop and supposedly should have reacted to many hours ago.

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) prevent outsiders from capturing your private data or learning passwords etc.Your online activity is encrypted by a virtual network that acts as a secure, private tunnel. Use company provided tools such as Office 365, Teams, Zoom etc for communication and Storage. Secure your device when not in use, lock your device. Be vigilant on any phishing emails.
