Als ein lösungsorientierter, motivierter und ehrgeiziger Mitarbeiter hat man sicherlich auch seine eigenen klaren Zielen mit konkretem Datum und Actionplan. Denn Ziele sind keine Träume sondern konkrete Meilensteine die erreicht werden können und auch sollen. Darum sollten sie auch klar kommuniziert werden und immer wieder visualisiert und kontrolliert werden. Von oben bis unten in der Hierarchie sollte es klare Ziele geben. Tages-, Wochen-, Monats- und Jahresziele.

Delegation is essential for every manager as we cannot do all or be present at every place although we dont talk about micromanagement here. Delegation cannot only help you to reach more and therefore your goals, but also as a sign of value and trust for your fellow staff members independent of the position. By this you can promote and encourage others to contribute more to the hotel/company culture and take more responsabilities. The front line staff knows where the "problems and issues" are - dont be the arrogant leader - they know how to do their job best.
