During my early career as an Operations Supervisor in an NGL Extraction Plant, the starting point for providing objective feedback to the team members was to establish clear objectives. These objectives were set early during the year cycle and discussed among the team members. Once these objectives were populated, they were monitored throughout the year, and continuous feedback was also provided in order to close any identified gap. This approach contributed to build trust within the Operations Team because of the transparency of the process.
