Não se trata aqui da pessoa ser desprovida de inteligência para aprender, mas sim de, naquele momento que você precisa, o/a colaborador/a ser incapaz de realizar a tarefa para a qual recebeu a delegação. Ao delegar, você Líder deve ter muito claro quem será a pessoa que receberá aquela missão, tarefa, processo ou rotina. Avalie se tal colaborador/a possui o know-how, skills ou habilidades necessárias para o desempenho da missão recebida. Entregar, pois, uma atividade a quem não poderá executar é fechar os olhos para a realidade fática e, bem aí, reside o ato de "delargar".

You now have a "working group," not a team. Instead, let the team know that they are collectively accountable for delivering value in both the short term (achieving the Sprint Goal in Scrum or minimizing Cycle Time in Kanban) and the long term (by ensuring code quality and skill redundancy). Challenge the team to assign tasks in a way that maximizes value (this may involve pairing, mobbing or swarming). Initially, I used to delegate a task and constantly check to make sure it's being done correctly. Till I got this feedback, "if you delegate something to me, don't you trust I can do it?" You do not want to make your team member feel that he/she isnt fully capable of doing the task by interfering too much however you still need to have a structured check-in, that helps you to monitor progress and allow team members to seek help or ask for resources if needed. You should know that your goal is to empower your team to shine, not to micromanage their every move.

"Small wins leads to bigger wins", I live by this daily. I encourage my clients and team to celebrate their wins. A Win is not just about getting a job 100% done. It's about celebrating every little step that gets us moving towards the goal. Here's my take on this: Every time I celebrate a win, I feel great. And when I feel great, my mind wants more of that. And to get more of that feeling, I need to do the things that gets me that. This way, my mind, keeps me focused on taking the necessary action daily.
