I believe this varies based on the skill set and experience. Displaying diverse projects is great, if you're a senior developer. But if you're a junior developer or a fresher, having quality projects over quantity is better to get a good head-start in your career. This is what I'd recommend: - Work on your first web app and deploy it (it DOES NOT have to be perfect). - Deploy your Web app with CI/CD to GitHub pages - Make your project's Readme as descriptive as possible. Include technologies, third party libraries, articles etc used while building your app.

Displaying diversity is tricky when you are starting. It is important to show that you have developed various skills which cross over to various platforms. However, as a new developer, it is crucial to showcase your top skills, you do not want to clutter your portfolio, and do not try and add all the skills you learned into one portfolio. Instead, work on 2-3 projects that cater to your desired position. For instance: 1) Personal portfolio that showcases good use of UI/UX design and good file structure formatting. 2) A simple backend project that show cases API call management techniques (I.e., API call limiters, authentication, etc...) 3) Lastly, a full-stack project that incorporates both as well as web scraping to utilize foreign APIs
