Depending on the amount of up front prep work you do, attending trade shows can either be a really productive use of your time or a total waste of it. Having a clear idea of the people/companies you want to make contact with ahead of time will allow you to hone in on what you need. Otherwise you will wander aimlessly and become overwhelmed with the sheer number of things being shown. So, make a plan, check the booth map to see where the things/people you want to see are and make the most of your time at the show by effectively building out your network and meeting the people who who can help you accomplish the things you want to do.
