Teams typically go thru Tuckmans ladder phase which include Forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning. So conflict happen at storming stage and this is unavoidable. There are many ways to resolve conflicts within the team such as: 1. Resolve by addressing cause of conflict. This is done by mutual collaboration that leads to win-win situation. 2. Compromise to avoid damage to relationships which leads to loose-loose situation. 3. Avoid or withdrawal of conflict based on other project priorities. 4. Forced or direct approach by coming to solution with use of power, authority. 5. Escalate to higher authorities if it's unresolved.
