About Dan Hobson
I’m Dan Hobson, a writer, journalist and editor with a passion for adventure. In my writing, I combine a love of landscape, wildlife and nature with a desire for exhilaration, endurance tests and good times. Raised in the Peak District, my first love is the rolling hills, picturesque dales and wild moorland of the national park. However, you’ll find me hiking, trail running, gravel riding and mountain biking in lots of landscapes in the UK and further afield. I started working as an Editor for komoot in 2018 and it’s been an absolute pleasure researching the best routes ever since.
