In order not to lose practice, I have decided to go on my first little bike tour in 2025. I'm going to take it easy. I'll start at home, take the Elbe cycle path to Schillerplatz, Körnerplatz, then up Grundstraße to Dresdner Heide. Here I followed my old route to work (the most beautiful route to work…

The Bühlau cemetery was built in the 19th century in what is now the Dresden district of Bühlau according to the plans of the church architect Woldemar Kandler. The cemetery is a listed…

The last part of my Dresden tour is done! Unfortunately!! I would have liked to have hiked for longer, because the tour is fantastically beautiful!!
The start is at the train station in Radeberg, the finish is at the train station in Heidenau. I crossed the Hüttertal near Radeberg, Wallroda, Arnsdorf…

Today the third part of my walk around Dresden begins. The start is at the train station in Coswig, the destination is reached after almost 40 km at the train station in Radeberg. At the beginning it snowed very heavily in Coswig, so I had doubts as to whether the tour was even possible. But it gradually…
According to tradition, a tour to Meißen was planned for the start of the year today. According to the weather forecast, the wind was supposed to blow from the south-west. That means there would be a headwind and a tailwind on the way back. I prefer it that way. But it turned out differently. The wind…
