Wandern ist die vollkommenste Art der Fortbewegung, wenn man das wahre Leben entdecken will. Es ist der Weg in die Freiheit. (Elizabeth von Arnim, englische Schriftstellerin, 1866 - 1941)Die Sterne geben meine sehr subjektive, persönliche Bewertung wieder:
Bedeutung der Sterne: ⭐️ = gut und wiederholenswert, ⭐️⭐️ = besser und auf jeden Fall wiederholenswert, ⭐️⭐️⭐️: am besten und rundum klasse! Schönheit der Tour definiert sich für mich über die Natur (ich liebe Wildblumen, Wald, Wasser, Felsen Höhlen, Ruinen...), Beschaffenheit der Wege (mein Favorit sind die schmalen Pfade, durchaus auch wurzelig und steinig) und Aussichten.
Die Bewertung hängt natürlich auch ab von der Wanderregion, eine Dreisternetour im Odenwald sieht anders aus als eine in den Vogesen....Anmerkung: Ich freue mich über eure Kommentare und ich lese sie alle! Wenn ich nicht immer antworte, dann, weil ich beschäftigt bin, z. B. mit dem Planen neuer Touren!🤗

Today I'm going to the Kinzig Valley again, this time to Haslach. Since the Teufelskanzel legend trail is too short for me, I'm detouring it and including the Mühlenbacher Pavilion and the concentration camp memorial.
It starts at the large, free car park at the former Capuchin monastery.

In order to make the most of the beautiful day before the lows roll in, we need to remove a few white spots on our hiking map today. We start at the abandoned sports field in Ehrenstetten (thanks to @Andrea, whose tour I modified, without her I would not have thought there was a parking space there…

Today I want a lot of sun and decide to walk the beautiful Hochtal-Steig again. I don't start in Weierle (there is always illegal parking there and you have to pay for it), but at the sports field in Bernau-Dorf. At km 0.72 of the tour on Dorfstrasse there are also about 3-4 parking spaces on the side…

Finally, we want to take advantage of the sun shining down from the sky today for a little walk. We walk from the hidden hiking car park along the Rammentalweg along the stream called Tobel steadily uphill in the forest. It will be nice and cool on hot summer days!

After studying the rain radar in detail, we start in Stein am Rhein at Hohenklingen Castle. The castle is open and we enjoy the fantastic view from the tower.
