On my trip around Müritz on Wednesday I passed a roundabout in Rechlin that was decorated with an airplane sculpture. At home I googled the reason - there is a former test site for aviation - especially military aviation. And a small part of this site is now the Rechlin Aviation Museum.

I was at the market square in Göhren-Lebbin to get some information before starting my vacation. Why use the internet and telephone when there are cycle paths? The direct route back was of course not possible - which meant getting bread for one person...

Today I finished work early and was able to do a little more work in the garden at home. Today I chose the path through the Glemstal and then passed the fallow deer enclosure in Hemmingen. The stag made a prominent appearance today. Every now and then he looked up from grazing.

Today I reached another round number on my commute. So: record it for komoot. Today I went steeply down from Hardthof into the Glemstal valley below Markgröningen. Unfortunately the young black cattle weren't out today, it's always nice to pass them.

After komoot had guided me safely to the Neckar, I knew my way around again and so I headed home via Zugwiesen, Hoheneck, Monrepos, Asperg, Markgröningen and Hemmingen. A night ride in pleasant temperatures.

After the birthday party, we went home at night. Since I don't know my way around Schmiden and Öffingen, I let komoot guide me to the Neckar. After reaching this intermediate destination, I unfortunately had to save the tour and record the rest separately. Otherwise, the sat nav would have kept trying…
This afternoon, the best wife of all asked for a chill afternoon for her. So I went out - cycling, that is - and she had the holiday home to herself.
I spontaneously put together a ride around Lake Drewitz, north of Malchow next to the A19. It was worth it. Sometimes a brisk ride on beautiful cycle paths…
