Wachtendonk is a very beautiful little town on the Niers. There is also a good cycle and footpath with a small lighthouse. There are very old houses in the town, built in 1634, I saw.
You can eat well in the old German restaurant "Büskens".
I can only recommend a visit to the Lower Rhine 🤠
