Two weeks of vacation on the Elbe are coming to an end 😢 Finally, we cycled from Buxtehude through moorland, then through the Hamburg harbor and the Old Elbe Tunnel and the old town to the main station. Our train leaves in just under an hour...

@Stephan
It was a very nice tour, I really enjoyed it 👍
Thank you, @Didada 🤗
Completely new perspectives on Hamburg. Very interesting @Stephan.
That's for taking it with you, the Elbe cycle path is also on my to-do list.😎
Did you actually have a lot of walking wind, or is it like on the Rhine, one direction in the morning and the other in the afternoon?
We were lucky with the wind and actually only had one day with a strong headwind. Since the wind in Germany tends to come from the west, it is often recommended to cycle the Elbe cycle path in reverse, from the mouth upstream. Either way, you can be lucky or unlucky, and I really enjoyed the scenery on the downstream tour.
First of all, a huge compliment to the style of photography. The angle, the way you look at details, the perspective! The selected objects that you photographed... the elevator in the Old Elbe Tunnel... wonderful, just really good. I grew up in HH Fischbek... thank you for your photos @Stephan
Thank you so much @Uschi, you're making me so embarrassed - I'm glad that @Frauke and I made you happy with our tours!
Hello Stephan, I would like to exchange a few ideas with you "directly" about your Lippe bike tour. I can't send you a direct message on Mastodon ;). I'm a journalist and am currently doing some research... Regards Brigitte
