This afternoon, the best wife of all asked for a chill afternoon for her. So I went out - cycling, that is - and she had the holiday home to herself.
I spontaneously put together a ride around Lake Drewitz, north of Malchow next to the A19. It was worth it. Sometimes a brisk ride on beautiful cycle paths…
The landscape there is ideal for cycling, even if there are sometimes difficult paths. I wasn't so keen on hiking at the time, as you can't get to the lakes at all
@Holger 🥾 🚴🏼♂️ 🇩🇪🇺🇦 It's amazing what you discover on these types of holiday explorations. EH's hunting residence... Interesting 😲
You can definitely ride some great routes there with a touring bike. I know about the roots in the asphalt, it was also there on the Ventron. There were green arrows on the road to indicate this, so there have probably been falls there.
Very well done. Picture of the A19 rush hour, unthinkable around Stuttgart. 😅😅😅
@🥾🥾 oder 🚴? Hiking is also quite good, but you should go into the woods. And it often takes a while to get there. In my opinion, the best hiking area there is the Müritz National Park.
@Gina I discovered this hunting lodge as a highlight on komoot when I was planning my trip, so I included a detour there. When I arrived, I was amazed to find a nice holiday resort instead of an old, museum-worthy house. The area is very beautiful, the head of the state council had chosen it very well.
@Lazyninchen The green arrows aren't bad. Here, under the canopy of leaves, it was very difficult to distinguish what was a dangerous threshold and what was just a shadow. Until you realized it, you just had to close your eyes and go over it. With the touring bike with the suspension fork at the front…
@Sigrid H 🇩🇪 🇪🇺 yes, it's different to what we're used to. I also had to grin when someone said to me on a remote side road, "I wouldn't ride my bike after eleven, because there are cars coming." In fact, a car might overtake you in 4 km... .
@Holger 🥾 🚴🏼♂️ 🇩🇪🇺🇦 different countries, different habits.😅. It's nice to see them taking care of us.
