Today a tour around the Müritz was planned. It was indescribably beautiful. On the east side the forests of the national park, moorland areas, wonderful views of the Müritz, especially on the west bank, great little towns like Waren, Rechlin, Röbel. I'll keep it short, otherwise I'll have to write a…
Unfortunately, I messed up the recorded tour on komoot and have now reconstructed it based on the planned tour. This has changed the technical data slightly. In fact, it was 4 hours 18 minutes net travel time and 410 meters elevation gain. Otherwise, everything is fine.
And that was the successful test drive of my satnav mount 2.0. In June, the thing simply jumped out of the mount and then it wouldn't stay in place anymore because the "dog ears" on the satnav had broken off. Sigma doesn't sell a replacement back panel - I asked. Throwing it out and buying a new one…
For us, the walk around the lake is also a must when we go on holiday on the Müritz. I always laugh myself silly at the warning signs about dangerous uphill and downhill sections - waves with 5 or 10 meters of elevation and 6-7% gradient.
I didn't even notice them. I think my brain blocks out things like that.
You confirm the prejudice: cyclists don't notice traffic signs. 😜
I took photos on previous tours that I didn't edit in Komoot. I occasionally add to the pictures and add a reference to such a tour in the comments.
A decent flat tour 😉 with lots of beautiful views. Looks really varied too. And at the end the ambition comes out, stopping so close to the 💯 was probably not an option. 🤭 I can empathize.

@S𝕧𝕖𝐧 🚲🇺🇦 These are brightly painted metal signs on poles that stand on the side of the road and path. Things like those in picture 7. 😅
