Sobre trackfinder
Wohne in Celle und habe nun mehr Zeit (R) , habe früher zwischendurch immer mal wieder von hier aus wochenlange Touren mit dem Rad u.a. nach Rom, Venedig, über die und in den Alpen, den R 1 von Arnheim an die russische Grenze und in einen der letzten Sommer an der Loire und in GB gemacht. Habe seit 14 Jahren ein Wohnmobil und bin dadurch flexibel bei der Urlaubsplanung und Gestaltung. Früher bin ich mit Karte, dann seit etwa 14 Jahren mit Garmin (GPS MAP) gefahren, habe bei GPSIES meine Touren geholt und geplant und nun bin ich bei Komoot. Das ist für mich eine große Hilfe bei der Planung und dem Fahren mit Hilfe des Smartphones. Seit 2016 fahre ich ein E-Trekkingrad von Haibike (jetzt SDuro Trekking 8.0). Für ganz lange Strecken nehme ich eine 2.Batterie - in einer separaten Tasche am Rahmen montiert- mit.
Und "für die Stadt" habe ich noch ein Batavus Tiefeinsteiger mit Boschmotor. Ganz praktisch so.Meine Kamera war eine Sony DSC-Hx 90V also mit GPS, jetzt ist es eine Sony alpha 7/3 und ab und zu auch die Handycamera von Samsung Galaxie 24 ultra.

Tradition determines the course of the Christmas holidays. For us, we meet early to sing in the choir and then meet up with our neighbors at lunchtime. That leaves time to move around and mentally prepare for everything else.
That's how it was again today, and it was even sunny.

After the rain today, I tried to get home with as dry feet as possible. So I walked along Wittinger Strasse behind the Finkenherd, past houses and front gardens decorated for Christmas.

After all the rain, the land is soaked and many of the paths are rutted. If there weren't dry cycle paths, I would have cycled back. This area has become very quiet in this dark time of year (no worries). There was no one on the Heidschnuckenweg at lunchtime either. The bike needs a thorough wash afterwards…

The paths out there are paved and often asphalted. None are really muddy or broken up, so they are good for walking.
The area is open, so there is not much forest and the meadows are very wet.

Cold east wind, dark short days, wet fields at the Schweinebruch - not really my feel-good season out there. But the light fog makes the contours in the distance blur a little and gives the area a mystical feel.

No rain and temperatures around 6 degrees - it's time to get on the bike again. There's a small forest on dunes near Hambühren, which I always cycle past, and then to the new, finished Horstgraben bridge - that was on the to-do list at short notice.

South of Landshut lies Vilsbiburg, where my daughter moved for work reasons. A small town between gentle hills with a medieval core, the town square is also beautiful.
But when it's cold, I'm more closed to such tours, both externally and internally.
