Observação de aves

The Berkenwoudse Boezem site is located between Ouderkerk aan de IJssel and Berkenwoude. This nature reserve consists of water, reed land and wet, lean grassland spread over a low and high bosom. Dotterbloem rattle and painting price do well on this swampy hay meadow.About halfway through the route there is a nice birdwatching spot.Bird lovers can indulge themselves here with breeding birds such as the reed warbler and the mustache and numerous water birds such as the moorhen, coot, mallard, tufted duck, mute swan and grebe. The Marsh Harrier can be seen regularly in the spring. This large bird of prey finds a rich food supply in the area.

In the breeding season you can also see the Black Tern in this area.
