The national park information in Federow is seven kilometers southeast of Waren (Müritz). The exhibition and shop are run by the National Park Service. The highlight is the webcam, which transmits the breeding events at the nearby osprey nest live into the house. Changing exhibitions show the diversity of the national park.

The National Park Service offers an extensive program of guided tours, and bicycles can also be hired. Federow is connected to Waren (Müritz) every hour during the season by the national park ticket bus line. The information house is barrier-free.

Kratzeburg is located north of Neustrelitz in the middle of the national park. The "Flatterhus" houses an exhibition about bats and provides information about sights nearby. You can reach Kratzeburg with the regional train (route Rostock-Berlin).

The SpurWeg adventure trail runs between Kratzeburg and Dambeck. Visually impaired people and an accompanying person can borrow a Braille booklet on the trail from the information point. It can also be borrowed all year round at the Dambecker Park family holiday resort: Tel. 039822 / 20225.

Boek is on the southwestern edge of the national park. The national park ticket buses stop right in front of the manor house. Since 2018, this and with it the rooms of the National Park Information have been renovated.
The national park information is provisionally set up in a mobile home with an awning. You can find him near the manor house near the parking lot.
The rangers will give you information about the national park and possible activities from Boek. This is also where the “In the Kingdom of the Birds of Prey” tour starts.

The tranquil town of Blankenförde in the south of the national park is located on the busy water hiking route Obere Havel. The national park information is located next to the small half-timbered church in the former village school. Here you can get comprehensive information about the nature and leisure activities of the region and visit the exhibition "Habitat of Extremes".

The exhibition "In the kingdom of the beeches" is open from April to October from 10 o'clock to 17 o'clock. From November to March, when the door is open. The Ausstellund is multimedia and designed for all ages very attractive. Admission is free. There are also toilets in the building.
