A very beautiful castle. Nice staff and great gastronomy. Price/performance is okay, but higher priced due to the location. The nearby forest area is great for walking. Cycle paths go in all directions and are well marked.

Spyker Castle is located on the edge of the Jasmund National Park.
It was first mentioned in 1318.

The castle has a long history of its construction with a Swedish builder (which is why it has been given the red color), over time as FDGB home in the GDR to its current use as a hotel.
