Flensburger Hafen

The ferry bridge is located on the west side of Flensburg harbor in the immediate vicinity of the historic harbor. From the ferry bridge, various tourist boat trips start in the Flensburg Fjord.

The port of the historic seafaring and port city of Flensburg is located in the heart of the old town. Here you can relax and watch ships while strolling, hear the fishermen's "Moin, Moin" and dream of the big, wide world.

The port of Flensburg lies at the end of the Flensburg Fjord, which was even lower at its peak centuries ago, but has meanwhile increasingly silted up. Without its harbor, the city of Flensburg would never have been built, because the proximity to water was crucial in the 12th century for the establishment of a commercial settlement. By 1600, about 200 seagoing ships were located at Flensburg harbor.
The port areas that are currently used for commercial purposes are located on the eastern and northern banks of the West. From the road Schiffbrücke you have a magnificent view of the entire inner fjord and the eastern shore with its modern and historic buildings. In the whole area of the historic harbor on the west side of the Inner Fjord are 50-60 historical, seagoing ships.
