Brug Reevediep

Enough space to cross the bridge

Beautiful concrete cycle paths around the Reevediep. Since its opening in 2019, the Reevediep has been a water connection between the river IJssel near Kampen and the Drontermeer. This connection branches off from the IJssel near Wilsum and empties at the island of Reve into the Drontermeer near Noordeinde. It consists of a channel located between dikes and adjacent floodplains. It has been constructed as a bypass for the safe discharge of high water on the IJssel.

Very pleasant "pavement" for cycling. The connection via the Reevediep gives access to great roads and small villages between Kampen and Elburg!
