Astronomistation Demmin

The water tower made of red brick was built in 1897 for the central water supply of the city of Demmin. When the tower was no longer needed for the water supply, it was converted into a planetarium with an observatory and observation platform.Visitors can learn interesting facts from the world of astronomy at public or individual events and enjoy the view of the starry sky.
