A great way!
The path leads through part of the raised bog, which was overgrown with forest after drainage and was then used as a source of firewood.
This part is now also under nature protection.
The path leads along a ditch through the forest. Sturdy shoes make sense. Some places are covered with wooden planks so that you don't sink into the wet peat.
The boardwalk of the Celts ended roughly in the middle of the path. There was probably a place of worship there. Long before the Romans came to the area.November 26, 2020
