Albaufstieg Griesinger Weg

Great section in the forest with shade in summer

Nice ascent for MTB or gravel bike. When driving down, however, caution is required in places due to the partly coarse gravel and the unstable ground. It should therefore be shut down at an appropriate speed.

The Albaufstieg Griesinger Weg leads from the idyllic Glems directly on the Alb plateau to Eninger pasture (or from there) down. The trail begins at first steeper, but is flatter in the course and is good for except for conditionally weak Fahrradfaher. At the top, you will discover a variety of possibilities: the Upper Reservoir, picnic facilities, barbecue areas, disc golf course (you can rent the discs in the nearby Albvereinsheim), or you can simply continue cycling on the beautiful Urach Alb.
