From the shores of Viroin, you can look up to the castle ruin of Dourbes. The romantic ruin towers high above the river on a rocky ridge overlooking the wooded mountainsides.
If you like, you can also climb up to the castle and visit the old walls.

The ruin of Dourbes is a ruined 14th century castle, destroyed after a siege in 1554, in the village of Dourbes in the municipality of Viroinval, province of Namur, Belgium. The castle site was scientifically excavated between 1976 and 2002.
