Tips
In the Bacher Lay basalt AG was mined in the open pit until the 1960s by Basalt AG in Linz near Neuwied. Then the basalt quarry was shut down and in 1996 the NSG Bacher Lay. In recent years, the rumors that basal mining should be resumed, but this could be prevented by many objections.
