Dérivation de Pagny-sur-Moselle

The track along the diversion of the Moselle between Pagny-sur-Moselle and Pont-a-Mousson takes you away from the course of the Moselle for a few kilometres.

Traffic is pleasant. Between the canal and the river, you can see the meadows on the banks of the Moselle. These are large dry meadows. They were once numerous in the region, but the proliferation of quarries and the scarcity of livestock have made them a rare natural treasure. They are now classified as "sensitive natural areas".
