The 26 meter high lighthouse is the landmark of Kołobrzeg. It was rebuilt in 1945 on the Rondell Fort Münde after it was destroyed in World War II. The lighthouse was originally built in the 1770s, not far from where it is today.
A beautiful lighthouse with a lot of history.

The only object of the medieval defense system that is still fully preserved today is the match tower at ul. Dubois, Dubois Street. The tower is seen from the market square towards the beach. To find it, you just have to orientate yourself at the old town hall towards the Hosso shopping center. This is then passed to the next street corner. There you go left and find the tower on the right side. You can also follow ul. Dubois from the beginning of Armii Krajowej, where there is a shopping street, and pass Przybylskiego-Platz (Preußenplatz), a park-like area. This variant has the charm that you follow the course of the former city wall. It is not far on either route: it is just three minutes from the market square and around five minutes on foot from Armii Krajowej at the corner of ul. Dubois.
