Saverne

Located along the Marne-Rhine canal, the small town of Saverne is on the border of Alsace and Lorraine. From here, by taking the riverbank cycle routes, you can easily reach Strasbourg. Don't miss the Château des Rohan, the "little Alsatian Versailles", with its imposing pink sandstone walls. Today, among other things, it houses a youth hostel.

and in the middle of it all there is a harbor and a lock. Saverne is good for a stroll. I really liked it.
You just have to enjoy Saverne. It's beautiful here, I like coming back again and again. The city has a pleasant atmosphere.

Saverne is the last town in Alsace before heading to Lorraine.
