The church built in 1723 in a dominant location on the Elbe slope opposite Pillnitz Castle was designed by Pöppelmann.
It was restored in 1990. Like all Pöppelmann buildings, it is a listed building, as is the Zwinger.

A fantastic view of the Pillnitz vineyards. Absolute MUST, with a wide view of the Elbe and in good weather up to the Eastern Ore Mountains🥾🙋‍♂️👍🏻
