The tickets are not expensive and the story is very interesting. It used to be a border castle between Poland and Austria-Hungary. Also a nice beach by the lake and you can take a ferry to the other side to Czorsztyn castle.

Dunajec Castle is a medieval fortress located on the right bank of the Czorsztyn Reservoir in the village of Niedzica-Zamek, in the area of Polish Spisz or Zamagurze (Pieniny Spiskie). This castle was probably erected at the beginning of the 14th century by Kokosz Berzevicz, probably on the site of an earlier defensive structure.
