Long Iron Bridge is the name of a steel bridge over the Nieuwe Haven in the city of Dordrecht, in South Holland. The bridge was designed in 1855 by G.N. Itz (city architect of Dordrecht 1832-1867), and served to replace a 40 m long wooden bridge.
The Long Iron Bridge is a slender bridge that consists of two fixed bridge sections of 25 meters each. In the middle of the harbor there is a movable section designed as a double bascule bridge. The bridge has a total length of 60 m and is 2.8 m wide.
The bridge was restored in 2005.
