Did you know that on the site of this mill there used to be an octagonal flour mill that was destroyed by fire on August 22, 1775 and that also burned down a large part of the village of Terbregge?

The De Vier WInden windmill is slowly sinking, causing cracks. That is why the mill will be given a new foundation and a new vane cross. 2020

Windmill de Vier Winden gets new blades. An inspection of the blades in April 2020 revealed that there were hairline cracks in the metalwork of the blades and that was reason for the Municipality of Westland to stop the running of the mill. Thanks to the efforts of the municipality, funds have now been released to have the restoration carried out.
