Cycling like on the highway

For me as a tourist, these inner-city railway tracks are a wonderful way to explore the Ruhr area largely without traffic. Ideally and logically, the routes lead to the locations of the industrial architecture.
I like to go to the Ruhr area to explore this unique combination, which is unique in Germany.

The Erzbahntrasse is a well-developed cycle path, it starts in the north at the Zoom Erkebnis Welt in Gelsenkirchen and ends in the south at the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum. There are numerous impressive bridge structures. There is also a connection to the Kray Wanner railway line and the Zollverein cycle path.

The Erzbahntrasse is good for cycling and there is a lot to see.
