Antler tree, pine grove and Weymouth pine

The Hofgarten in Coburg impresses with a large variety of trees. Here you can, for example, marvel at the pine grove made up of black pines. In the immediate vicinity you will find the white pine. Their narrow, light brown cones are resinous, the soft needles are grouped in bundles of five. You can recognize the antler tree from North America by its open crown and its strikingly long branches. Its double-pinnate leaves are up to 90 centimeters long.

The park is a collection of many wonderful trees, shrubs and hedges, some of which are very old. When you walk, you see something beautiful everywhere.
