The tour of the Spinc ridge and the White Route takes you up and around the spectacular Glendalough Valley. The tough climb is rewarded with breathtaking views of the Valley and the surrounding Wicklow mountains.
The trail goes up by Poulanass Waterfall before joining the amazing boardwalk and wooden steps leading to the spectacular viewing point overlooking the Upper Lake. On the other side of the valley you decent down a rocky trail to the deserted Miners Village where a path takes you back into Glendalough.

The view of the "valley of the two lakes" from the hill "The Spinc"
is great. Glaciers formed a beautiful valley millions of years ago, leaving behind two lakes and forming the unique backdrop for Saint Kevin, who founded the Glendalough monastery complex at the end of the valley.

Great plank paths with steel nails that prevent slipping, very reliable even in the rain. From up here you have a great view over the mountains and the upper lake.
