On the "ruins mountain" (vineyard) on the site of a medieval tower hill, on behalf of the district administrator v. Reichenbach built an observation tower in the form of an artificial ruin in 1820. This is a field stone building with a former small chapel. From the Weinbergstraße a narrow footpath or a staircase runs in a northerly direction and on to the eastern tip of the ruin mountain. The lookout point offers a view of the city.

At sunrise, sunset or in the course of the day it is very nice there with a wide view. Good to combine with the Thuringian view.

Located above Freienwalde, the artificial ruins offer a wonderful view of the Oderbruch and the town with the Nikolaikirche, similar to the Thuringian view, you can also see the Niederfinow ship lift here
