The Staring Dome was built in 1850 as a tea house for Constantia Ernestine Theodora Staring (1819-1893), the daughter of poet A.C.W. staring.

The dome is only accessible on foot. With the bicycle you can ride up to the tow ferry and you will have to leave the bicycle there. No dogs are allowed on the dome grounds.The dome is only accessible during the day.
