Pollença

This city is (at least for me) a must visit every Mallorcabesuch. First with the bike up to the chapel Calvari and then down a coffee or a refreshing cold drink. The city is (understandably) very popular and therefore also a bit overcrowded, but what does not make them lose their appeal. If there is not so much going on, it is worthwhile to cruise freely or unplanned through the streets or to stroll.

In Pollença from the staircase to Calvary I am in a guided mountain bike group up to the LLuc monastery...... and back........ I would have broken my ankle on foot.

It's only worth driving into town once or for coffee, otherwise it's tediously winding, so that you quickly end up on a staircase. Better bypass.
