Tips
Although only a little over 745 meters high, the Buchschirmberg is one of the most impressive vantage points in the Rhön. Depending on the viewing direction, Wasserkuppe, Milseburg, the Ulster Valley and the Ellenbogen with the Noah's Segel lookout tower are clearly visible.

The book umbrella is always worth a trip. Wonderful view towards Wasserkuppe and Milseburg.

On the summit there is a memorial stone of the Rhönklub, Hilders branch association, the East Cross and further south a telecommunications tower.
