Tips
The castle is in a beautiful natural rural quiet area for walking or cycling. This is a nice stop on a drive (or hike) on the sand / gravel roads and forest trails around this castle.

The castle and the opposite farm 'De Benedenhof' have been in use since 2016 at the Smaakmakers Mill. On the ground floor is an information point from Brabants Landschap. Here visitors get a glimpse into the life of the badger and information is available about nature in the vicinity of the estate. The estate around it contains 50 badgers.

You can get there by road bike, but with an off-road bike in that area you can cross the beautiful gravel roads, or that single forest path. Also nice for a walk. Continue on the gravel path along the Peelkanaal (also known as the Defense Channel).
