It's worth it because it's simply a piece of Hamburg history that is still alive today - a little journey through time. In summer you can also cool down here, because it's nice and cool in the tunnel. ;)

extraordinary building. Approach from the south side (Steinwerder) on Sundays / Holidays, because there is little traffic in the port. From the Steinwerder lookout point, there is a wonderful view from Altona to the Elbphilharmonie on Hamburg.
