Top cycling routes to Deelerwoud gravelstrook

Tips

  • The gravel road through the Deelerwoud. A real must for every gravel cyclist who visits the southern Veluwe! Now world famous in the gravel scene because of those two striking dead trees on either side of the path. So striking, that the trees have already been called the National Gravel Monument... and I'm happy to join that!

Because the Deelerwoud is a well-known spot, not only among gravel cyclists, but also among cyclists and walkers in general, you will always have to take others into account here. Still, you can pretty much continue on the wide gravel road. Turning off the main avenue is unfortunately not allowed.

  • In the southern part of the Deelerwoud you have a beautiful view over the meadow/heath landscape.

  • Descends slowly from Groenendaal to Deelen. From this side really a race track but also beautiful to tour over. Special piece of nature!
